Deer on the Walsingham Estate are managed by the author and Country Life magazine columnist, Patrick Galbraith, who lives nearby and the Estate’s long-serving gamekeeper, Simon Owen. The venison is all shot on Estate land and is processed just a few miles away, ensuring the freshest, highest quality product. It is important to manage deer as they eat young tree saplings and hedge plants.
