Walsingham Estate Large Beef Box

£177.99

Our Walsingham Estate Large Beef Box has been designed by our shop manager, Sam, for households who want their freezer properly stocked with cuts of traceable, native-breed beef, which represent excellent value.

Inside you'll find a great mix of steaks, exceptional mince or diced beef, and superb roasting joints, all of which comes from an Aberdeen Angus steer, raised right here on the Walsingham Estate.

Sam has included a sirloin steak and a bavette for when you want something special but we’ll also include two roasting joints. These could be any mix of chuck roast, topside, silverside, or brisket.

Our butcher will hand select what combination you will get on the day of order.

Whatever combination you receive, you're getting two proper Sunday roasts' worth of joints that provide roughly 10-11 portions. Every cut comes individually vacuum-packed, labelled and frozen, ready for the freezer for up to the duration of the cuts use by date.

Roasting joints and the brisket/Jacob's ladder pairing are selected by our butchers from the best available stock - every box is full, but the precise combination may vary slightly between orders.

Provenance

All of your meat will come from the same steer, raised on Hill House Farm, which is a beautiful part of the Walsingham Estate here in North Norfolk.

Hill House Farm is farmed by Rob and James Woodhouse, a father and son team. Their prize herd of Aberdeen Angus are grazed on quiet water meadows which according to a recent article in Country Life magazine “feel as wild as anywhere in the county.”

Storage & Delivery

All cuts arrive individually vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates. The box is an insulated box with ice packs to keep everything fresh in transit. It can be put in the fridge to defrost for immediate use, or the duration of its use by date for longer frozen storage.
