Walsingham Estate Dry-Aged Steak Box
This is the box designed by our shop manager, Sam, for the serious steak aficionado. At its heart is a true fillet steak. Cut exclusively from the centre of the tenderloin, a true fillet steak is the most prized cut of the animal.
It comes alongside a very generous run of ribeye, sirloin, and rump steaks, hand-selected by our butchers from the best of an Aberdeen Angus steer, raised right here on the Walsingham Estate.
We've also included feather blade, a lesser-known but very fine cut, which is sought after by chefs for its rich flavour and tenderness.
We have included a slow-cook option (either braising steak or Jacob’s ladder) for when you want to cook something low and slow.
Rounding off the box is some diced beef for your favourite casserole recipe and two packs of our burgers for when you’ve got the barbecue out.
Every cut comes individually vacuum-packed, labelled and frozen. We blast freeze in the shop for maximum freshness.
Steak selections within each either/or pairing are chosen by our butchers from the best available stock - every box includes a genuine fillet steak, plus three further premium steaks.

Provenance
All of your meat will come from the same steer, raised on Hill House Farm, which is a beautiful part of the Walsingham Estate here in North Norfolk.
Hill House is farmed by Rob and James Woodhouse, a father and son team. Their prize herd of Aberdeen Angus are grazed on quiet watermeadows which according to a recent article in Country Life magazine “feel as wild as anywhere in the county.” Hanging and butchery take place at Papworth’s, just up the road in Bale.
Storage & Delivery
All cuts arrive individually vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates. The box is an insulated box with ice packs to keep everything fresh in transit. It can be put in the fridge to defrost for immediate use, or the duration of its use by date for longer frozen storage.
