Walsingham Estate Muntjac Venison Steaks
Muntjac deer on the Walsingham Estate are managed by the author and Country Life magazine columnist, Patrick Galbraith, who lives nearby and the Estate’s long-serving gamekeeper, Simon Owen. The venison is all shot on Estate land and is processed just a few miles away, ensuring the freshest, highest quality product. It is important to manage deer as they eat young tree saplings and hedge plants.
Muntjac is known for its tender texture and delicate flavour. It doesn’t have the gaminess of the likes of venison from red deer.
By choosing our muntjac, you’re supporting conservation and land management in North Norfolk. It really doesn’t get any more sustainable.
