Shepcote was founded in 1969 by Michael Shepherdson in Driffield and continues to thrive from its East Yorkshire base. In 1994, Richard Shepherdson, the company's Managing Director, assumed responsibility for the day-to-day management from his father. He has continued to uphold and expand upon the successful principles established by his father, which have positioned Shepcote as an industry leader. In June 2007, the company moved to a purpose-built facility that includes a factory, warehouse, and office.
